I'm posting this here because I don't think a lot of people visit the Great Lakes Region forum.

Phat03 has set up an eyeball in Savanna which is in northwest Illinois. Here is the location from mapquest

We was told that the super 8 Motel was full but they do have suites still but I ain't going to pay 100 plus dollars.
We got a room about 6 miles from Savanna.

If you want to stay in Savanna, check the Super 8 website every day. Any cancellations can be snatched up. I snagged an extra room last week.
