Shoei ST-Cruz Helmets

Anybody using one of these Shoei ST-Cruz helmets? Do you like it? What don't you like about it?

I ordered a St. Cruz. But, I didn't end up like the way it looked. I fit fine, but I looked like a mushroom under it. It was way too round resulting in the sides hanging too far out.

I tried on quite a few different helmets, and finally selected the KBC Classic. The Classic is the smallest, lightest DOT approved helmet that I found. I really like the way it fits and the way it looks.

Good luck with your selection...

Thumbs up Vega XTS

I bought a Vega XTS. Smallest DOT helmet on the market. Do a search for Vega Helmets and find the Vega web site. Check out the XTS. Almost as small as a novelty. Looks smaller than a mushroom head helmet and slightly larger than a novelty. Great helmet.

I have one. Good helmet, but I didn't like the fact that the zipper pull remained on the helmet when the neck curtian was removed. It kind of jingled in the wind if you didn't move it to the back of the helmet. They may have fixed this problem in the last 3 years though.

ST Cruz helmet

Hey SD,

I have 2 of them complete with neck curtains. they are black with very little use. They do make your head look a little mush roomy. I prefer my skid lid. They're large and I'll sell them both real cheap.

Ditto on the above. I've got a pearl white one that I don't use anymore. Kinda big, but real comfortable.
If you don't care about looks, seems to be a good helmet.

Thanks all!

Thanks for the replys. I have made up my mind and will look for
another brand. Don't like the large mushroom looking ones.
