Rebirth of an American classic

The 1933 Harley-Davidson VL, in my opinion, one of the best looking motorcycles to ever come out of Milwaukee. Over the next year, I plan to build a '33 VL and ride it from California to Outerbanks of North Carolina in time for my 40th birthday.

Initially I thought I would just sell my Softail to pay for the build, but after 4 months on Craigslist and 6 weeks on eBay, it's still sitting in my garage. So I've shifted gears and put together a crowd sourcing campaign on Indiegogo to try and raise the necessary funds.

Rebirth of an American Classic

Time is running short and I'm going to need all the help I can get to pull this off. So I'm hoping you guys can help spread the word about the campaign (Facebook, Twitter, etc). The more eyes I get on that page, the better chance I have of reaching my goal. You can also help by supporting the advertisers on Riding Vintage. Those clicks really do add up. If I got one click for every pageview, I'd have this motorcycle funded in a few months. Lastly I'm going to need a lot of parts, so if you have an '33 VL stuff your interested in donating I'm all ears.

Of course the entire build and trip will be covered on Riding Vintage, so I'll keep everyone up to date with my progress there.

Thanks for the support.
