No, worse.
Sold my bike to buy a lot for a house we were going to build. Told myself, "hell, I'll get another one after the house is done..."
Ya know, houses and all the crap that goes with them are pretty expensive
Recently, after I got my bike my wife takes me to the Parade of Homes "just to look around". I told her look all you want but there is no f'n way I'm selling the bike again!!!!

brwk,
Man I hear ya, sold the Goldwing last week and the EG Classic won't be here till November too. Now the last few sunny and reasonably warm Wisconsin days are going by and me in the cage, UGH. I personally had to "strike while the iron is hot" cause that GW loses $$$ daily, unbelievable! Had I waited till Nov. I'm sure it would have cost me at least another grand, man, live and learn.
The payoff will be worth it!

You're not dumb. You're lucky you were able to sell your bike! Next time your in your car go to a drive through car wash. Unroll all your windows & sunroof etc. drive through the wash. Remember how glorious it is to ride in the rain!!! Should be about the same effect!
I feel your pain though. I sold my Silverwing uhh 3 years before I could get my Harley!
The anticipation will make that first ride even better!!!
later,
Nick

I sold my RK early this spring so I could get it off the credit report when my wife and I were getting financed to build a new house. We have since moved in to the house. I have been ready to buy another bike for 3 months. Since the 03 bikes were extended 2 months I am now finally ready to get an 04. I had a bike on order for next spring. But as some here have already given testament, a lot can happen in a few months. I may get teh bike I may not. So, I went down to the dealer and got the ride I wanted now. I know it is end of season but at least I will not be living with the thought of not being able to get the bike next season. It will be in the garage and ready to go.
