Lucky for you we have an expert on chaps right here on this forum. Another plus for you he is right there in NC. Here is his contact info.

If you are looking for what will fit YOU then I would look up a leather shop in your area & get them to properly fit & make you your own chaps.

How many times have your heard of people buying & then selling what they have recently bought. If the fit was right they would not be selling it.
Jackets &, Chaps - remember no 2 bodies are the same.

Unless of course your easy to please wearing a generic size or brand from a swap meet or flea market.

Theres no substitute for the right fit especially when your in the wind.

I agree with Rollme... I would just add, along the same line, that you should be able to find a bike leather shop in your area that sells chaps, and they will put a set on you... You just need to show with the same type of pants ya ride with, along with the foot gear you normally wear... Once you make your decision on waist size, and if they fit your upper legs right, the leg length is usually adjusted by cutting off the bottom, and a little restiching... Our local shop carries First Manufacturing... They make some good, sturdy chaps, which can also be had with snap in liners, for colder wear... Good luck!!!...

Just wondering, why chaps? There are many good motorcycle pants and other riding gear that is much better for personal protection from both the weather and road rash.

sgmfisher wants to know where he is and how he got here
It's all about the circumferance of your leg at the crotch. The highest place you can measure around your leg. If it is 27" say, add on 2" for heavy under layers if you wear them, and that's going to dictate your chaps size. If they don't snap around your leg, it doesn't matter how well they fit every where else. You can always adjust the waist or cut the bottom off, but they have to snap. In the wind.
