Partner said Hosemaster sold the FL stealership to Penske group several years ago " Who knew" !
In So Fla it is hard to find a good HD store. I would ride to another state to avoid Hosemaster just MO !!

I didn't realize they were closing, the Pompano store just closed a couple of years ago, I guess that leaves the Sunrise store as the only BR dealer left in S Fl.

I heard the MOCO is demanding certain potentially expensive renovations be made to dealerships or lose their license. Some may be unwilling or unable to comply and are just closing.

maybe the bottom is slowly starting to fall out of motorcycle market? i talked to a couple of dealers years ago when HD demanded they spend big bucks on renovations and that was their worry that they would spend the money and the market would go away. HD has just about priced their products out of the normal working person reach. i know quite a few people that would like to but new bikes, but it's just out of reach for most working stiff's.

Years ago if you went in a Harley shop you seen motorcycles . Today you see everything you would see at Wal-Mart but Motorcycles . I told my wife last week i have no idea how a business can make it with the overhead they have . No one I know buy,s most of this overpriced crap . I really believe you could furnish your home at an H-D dealer .
I go to the dealer to see bikes and buy parts not nicknacks .
It,s little wonder we see them close .

I go to the Tallahassee dealership on Sat mornings for free coffee and doughnuts - lol. Otherwise I call Hale's HD to get 20% off on HD and aftermarket parts.

Rossmeyer is known for high prices, lousy service and shady deals!!!!! Several time we ran in difficulties trying to deal with Pompano and Ft Lauderdale stores. Anyway be warned !!!
To me if you run a m/cycle store like a large used car lot the dealership's
customer service gets LOST !!!! Any partners you make the call ....JMO
