Catering to todays youth

It seams that anything painted in a flat color is all the rage.
I don't get it. Jr. is marketing to the younger group of riders and its working. I liked jesse's bike and his attitude, the Gas Monkey bike is more my style but they havent earned any respect from me yet.

Sorry, I thought the Gas Monkey boys built a bike that ANYBODY could build - a bobbed/rigid shovel with no front brake or suspension. Nothin' special there.
And Jr. built his usual theme bike - same as every bike he's EVER built. Nothin' special there either.
Like 'em or not, JJ and Sr. built the only bikes that displayed innovation and real engineering. They should have finished 1 and 2, either way.

The show itself was a disgrace from the beginning. Where did Discovery find that bozo of an emcee? And why didn't the entrants ALL ride their bikes to the event?
No more Builder Bike-off's for me - I'm done.

I think JJ has his personal demons but generally builds b!tchen sh!t and really builds his bikes by hand and not some circus contraption designed on a computer by and for someone who likely doesn't even ride bikes. And JJ isn't afraid to talk sh!t and back it up. And they should make the contestants ride their creations 10 miles...

07Fatboy, you are very correct,,GasMonkey built a nice enough functional bike,,but they could get more respect without that azz of a mouthpiece, he does nothing but flap his gums and acts a front man,,so no respect there from me.

Then a few days later I saw him and he told me those are race engines. You wouldn't put it in a bagger. Shows you how many Dealerships are out of the loop, and dont have a clue.
The 120 R has been on the market for over 2 years now. Find a different dealer.

I liked Jrs bike the best and I'm 55 but hey, that is younger right!
Although I liked the gas monkey's bike, I thought is it was a travisty what they did to the FLH, should have restored it. Jr is an artist, his designs are unbelievable.

Its different strokes for different folks, if we all liked the same things it would get pretty boring.
