Eh Cole ... ya damn near had me on the floor with that response Glad to hear your gettin' back in the swing of things. Chuck the blue nylons throw back the matching chaps & just go for the raise, it will help the finger feel much better.
No pun intended on the swing of things ...

Well, I appreciate all the compassionate advise. Nice to have friends truly looking out for my best interest...HOWEVER after going back and forth, I have decided against coming into work wearing chaps\nylons\ and now a "larkspur blue feathered boa". If my boss really liked it, the raise may not be what I really wanted nor worth all the "baggage". Also, I would hate to think of my co-workers also wanting a raise and coming in wearing nylons and chaps.
Thanks again,
rkc

Man, it'll work! You just have to remember to shave your legs.

Yeah, if you don't shave the static electricity will make the hair on your legs stick out when you remove them and your legs will look like a cat's tail after it sees a snake....er, not that I know anything personally about it if you know what I mean.

Click my avatar.
I have 21 years, construction and repair of fiber and copper.
The military portion included building towers, setting poles, trenching, hanging antennas, coax, cabling, etc. And globe trotting. Left one job in Thule, Greenland and flew straight to Guam for the next one.
I loved every minute, but it's nice to stay home now.
Were you Navy or Air Force or Coast Guard?

Were you also in the CG? Born in '57?(me too)
Curious what you did being in the CG or Navy making Chief (congrats) and working on cables for 35 years...
Cold and wet, reminds me of the time an old 1st class boatswains mate came on deck with a hot cup of coffee, it was so windy and cold the coffee blew against the bulkhead and froze.
But maybe we should get back on subject, now what was it? Oh yea, blue chaps of course...
