Road King Cole is reading this now saying WTF is this?
Thanks everyone. It's actually is not that bad now, just need to remember not to bang\slap it around. And I use the "two finger hunt and peck style" when typing...

About the ring, I had the "" thingy. I actually would rather not wear a ring, but someone else has a much different opinion...

On a serious note on "the Doctors" tv show yesterday they talked about draing the blood out from under the nail to relieve the pressure. I've done it myself with a tiny drillbit that i boiled and spun between my fingers. Don't use a drill press. Just spin it in the middle of the nail gentlytill it pops through and starts leaking, sounds worse than it is and it relievs a lot of pain. Than you can ride sooner!

Thanks, I have done that in the past, however I used a needle. Surprisingly my nail doesn't look that bad. It was funny that after I smashed it, I kept on looking at my nail and wondering why it wasn't turning purple. It was many hours later when I finally looked at the palm side...

I know that had to hurt like hell. Next comes the nail coming off. Then the 15 years it takes for the new nail to look normal again.

Well... I figured since it was a HARLEY, it wouldn't need the big'un. FXRs laugh at wheel weights.

Nope, similar morph into you having blue chaps...

Mine is a Sabre by John Deer and I run dyno in that. I also just figured out why the joking on wheel weight thing (besides being an oaf I can be slow). It wasn't a wheel balancing weight but a weight added to add more traction to the rear wheels (besides chains). Pretty sure mine are 50 pounds each. (perhaps people in the warmer climates never heard of these)

Although the "color" has also moved down to the next joint, the finger nail looks great and I am sure I won't lose it. It's really not a major injury at all.

I'm still amazed at how the leather guy was able to get those chaps to match his bike so well!
