L.E.D taillight prob

I have the HD rear led tail light on my bike the only light that works is the license plate light no tail/brake light anyone with any known ledge with these would be helpfull

Yes it was working before, I checked for power at the plug right before light and it was there

The only possibility will be between the socket and the light then.

Thats not entirely correct. You need a good ground to complete the circuit. Without it the lights won't work.

How did you check for voltage? Did you check it with the tail light unplugged? Where was your multi/volt-meter leads connected? 2, 3, 4 or 5 wires going into the tail light plug? I ask these questions because it makes a difference in the reading, there meaning and what to check next.

FYI The tail light ground is in the socket not body ground, what I said is to check all 3 power, running, brake and ground at the socket. He did mention the license plate light works, the ground is good then. Sorry if I confuse ppl
