Movie is from 1980, shot in 79....far as I know the MS & the sturgis came out on 80 as well...

Who can say, maybe Willy G and the yamaha guys caught a sneak preview

Guess we'll never know...

One of the best bikes I had wash an 83 midnight 920.. l should have never sold it. Standard issues: starter grinding, carbs separating from boots and the intake under the seat, when it revs out the intake tube under the right side flattens out and robs the air supply (easy fix - insert chicken wire in the tube)..

limited production, about 3700, only about 2700 for public sale.
