I will have a Harley for as long as I live. Harley is one of the few bikes that you can take cross country and still have fun riding down main USA at 20 mph and still have fun. Having said that I'm sick of putting 4 grand just into the engine to have it make decent power and then have a bike with chit suspension. I have over 40 thousand mi on this my third Harley and have had engine, electrical problems with each one. Some serious and most not but its s pain in the butt. Gold Wing is a better bike and bull it proof to boot. It's very tempting for sure. At least for me

Not bad looking. But, I wouldn't give up my Electra Glide for one.

I bought an '83 standard just to have a second bike. Had only 11K and change on it. I'll tell you what - that 30-year-old machine has a better suspension than a new Harley and the motor is like a Swiss watch. It is incredibly well-engineered and prety much bullet-proof, IMO... And that's a 30-year old one.

Never cared for the regular Gold Wings - too big, not my thing. However, this new model is looking damn good to me!!

That surprised me, I think it's a cool looking bike. Many wing riders have my respect.

Maybe in ten years or so when I am shopping for my next ride I will consider something like that.

Actual rear wheel output is 95/103 through the shaft final drive. The GW needs a six speed overdrive gearbox in the worst way...
