That's funny, because open carry is legal in many states - just not Texas.
Back when I was in Texas many years ago, it was common to see cowboy-types with a revolver on the hip. Today, it's not technically legal. You can read up on it - there are many legal nuances. That said, the laws are interpreted by the courts there that open carry of hand guns is illegal. The do have reasonable concealed carry laws and licensing.

I know a lot of riders are carrying concealed weapons but seeing that on a rider's bike near me would cause me to put distance between myself and that rider. That said, I would like to see a picture of the rest of the bike, it's looks interestingly done.

Ya, I was singing the song in my head while I was typing, trying to remember all of the "ootinists" there were.
Seems to fit that ridiculous scooter though.
Went to a local small town rally a few years ago and a dude showed up with a Valkyrie that had an actual horse saddle on it - complete with the horn.
He was also the KING of the kings of throttle blippers. His Valkyrie had those six shooter dual exhausts that he evidently loved to hear. So much so that he made sure EVERYBODY else heard them too by constantly (and I mean constantly) blipping his throttle.
We soon tired of listening to his relentless serenade and left. On the way out of the fairgrounds all nine of us returned his blipping serenade - all the way to the highway.

Looks Great. One question though, how to you draw and shoot AND keep the throttle on? Takes a little while to screw the throttle down, and in my part of town, that can be too long!

cruise control. was in Texas last year, Bandera. people ride their horses into town, tie up to the hitching post in front of the bank, and walk in with a 45 strapped to their leg. never seen anything like it. people from there asked me where I was from, told them florida, they only said "Welcome to America, and what took you so long to get here". Was a great day at the local saloon.

it doesn't show in the picture but i believe there is another holster on the other side of the seat so you can just use your left hand

Pretty, but useless - if you ask me.
You gonna leave it there when you park?
I have a concealed weapons permit - frequently and carry my Ruger in my front pocket when I ride. It's a problem, though, since I can't walk into a bar. I can go to a restaurant WITH a bar, but it has to be an eatery, not a saloon that serves food.
So a lot of times I leave the gun home.
What good is that?

ahhhhhhhh, i'm pretty sure it's designed and intended for show.........not for practicality. but thanks for taking time to provide a detailed explanation of the obvious.
