Detachable saddlebags brackets, your experience

They work really well. I've had them on for long trips - 12 days, 3,000 miles, etc. However, I travel a fair bit, so I got fed up and bought an Ultra. Now the Deuce is going back under the knife for my chopper project, so her touring days are done.

Thanks everyone! After internet research, reading pros and cons, end up getting the edge brackets. Got them yesterday, strong brackets. The good thing about it is totally adjustable, you can actually move it back and forth to the position you like. I also got the Kuryakyn plain bags, very good quality. I am putting them on in a week or two, stay tuned.
