Finally Getting a Harley
Been lurking and asking typical new guy stuff here and there for a while now , thanks for putting up with me while shopping bikes.
Tonight I went and put a deposit down on this 01 Deuce I'd been him hawing over for a couple months.
Should have her in a week or so after my re-fi paper work gets far enough.
She needs some minor attention , 3066mi , FXSTD / i , pretty excited to get my 1st Harley , exhaust will be the 1st thing I change, just doesn't look right on a Deuce for my taste , plus the front header pipe is dented under the wrap.

well, it's about time. Where's the picture so we can all give you advice on which pipes to get.

This is what this forum is about! I should apologize for my comment in your other thread about your bike's fuel injection. I thought it would have had the MM injection, but apparently it does not. Congrats on your ride and good luck with her! Nice bike!

enjoy the bike. don't forget the assless chaps and a subscription to
american iron magazine. optional but recommended items when you
join the "fraternity".

Congrats! I have been riding rice rocket for years till 2006 bought my first Harley, 3 different Harleys in 6 years and lots of miles. Cheers!

Good looking seat. I haven't seen that model before. Yes, that bike is just crying out for set of either black D&D Fatcat or black Supertrapp Supermeg.
