Finally Getting a Harley

Been lurking and asking typical new guy stuff here and there for a while now , thanks for putting up with me while shopping bikes.

Tonight I went and put a deposit down on this 01 Deuce I'd been him hawing over for a couple months.

Should have her in a week or so after my re-fi paper work gets far enough.

She needs some minor attention , 3066mi , FXSTD / i , pretty excited to get my 1st Harley , exhaust will be the 1st thing I change, just doesn't look right on a Deuce for my taste , plus the front header pipe is dented under the wrap.

This is what this forum is about! I should apologize for my comment in your other thread about your bike's fuel injection. I thought it would have had the MM injection, but apparently it does not. Congrats on your ride and good luck with her! Nice bike!

I started riding again around 74 and traded through 5 metrics from a 350 Honda to a 1500e Vulcan Classic then in November of 08 traded for an 09 Heritage. Kept that one for 11 months and made the mistake of trying out a Ultra Limited. Wife like the seat better so we took that one home and left the Heritage. Reckon I'll keep that one for a good spell. Done "personalized" it. Congrats on the new ride. I KNOW you'll like it! Put the miles on it. That's what you got it for.

Good looking seat. I haven't seen that model before. Yes, that bike is just crying out for set of either black D&D Fatcat or black Supertrapp Supermeg.
