After pricing Craftsman tools, I picked up a Windzone EK 1HD Motorcycle Tool Kit for Harleys. I'm not very handy but hope someone would stop to help is

Out of all of the things people mentioned, I don't remember seeing a spare headlight bulb. I guess nobody rides at night?

Usually when a bulb goes its a high or low beam but not both at same time. If you're on a FL with passing lights your covered there too. My headlight bulbs are halogens and i wouldn't want to be carrying one around, they aren't cheap and i don't think they take well to being excessively handled or jostled around say in the bottom of a tool bag or saddlebag.

Hey thats an idea. Just keep your bike or truck in good order, and you will never have to worry about a break down.

I have carried an old one that has dim or bright burnt out. Not sure if I do at the moment.
Between the passing lamps and still having dim or bright, I haven't pverly worried. But you are right it is not a bad idea.

I have the Cruz Tools H3 kit. Has everything I have ever needed, and more. Great kit, very complete. And only $100 new.

I went to the International Motorcycle Show today in San Mateo and picked up another "tool" for my one the road took kit. I wouldn't exactly call it a "tool" but it is. It is a roll of Rescue Tape. It is self fusing and adheres to itself when wrapped around something. It is waterproof, airtight, almost fireproof. Should something come loose on the bike on the road, I figure this could be a trip saver.

This is a great thread. The only thing i have every broken that left me standing was a shift linkage. I limped it in 4th gear to the next town and bought an allen set to work on it. Now I have a small tool kit in the bag.
