What's the fastest you've ever ridden your Harley?

I have a 2000 Fatboy with pipes and a jetted carb...

How would one prove the speed anyways?

My speedo only goes to 120......so that's all the faster I've ridden.

70 MPH ...

I've only had it for about a month.

I bought my FXDL for comfort not speed. I had plenty of speed on the ricer I owned for 18 years. (oh.. I had that up to 165 if it matters & it was only a 600)

Michael Psycle will become famous soon enough
The fastest I've ever ridden my 92 fxr is a bit over 100. Each time I do that and hit the 100 mark, reality sets in again and I slow down. I have no need for that kind of speed. I don't think I have ridden a bike or driven a car faster than 105 in my life. I like cruising at about 75-80.

I've got an 04 roadking police, although the police part doesn't make any difference. The only mod is V&H slip-ons. I can only get 98 1/2 mph out it. Nope, won't do a 100. Is this about right for a stock Roadking?

Should do 110 or so in 4th. And you can get 120 in 5th with the right tail wind or a long enough hill. But 120 is all 'cause that's where the speedometer quits.

Back in the day, as fast as it would go. But then we ran 16 tooth sprockets on the iron heads, so it wasn't all that fast. These days, seldom faster than traffic.

A litte over 100 for 2 exits, 1+miles between each, wasn't fast enough.

I spent years showing people the ticket I got from the Highway Patrol, which clearly stated: "VASCAR" (radar confirmation of the speed I got fined for)

My opinion is it does not matter.
Those who have never gone anywhere nor done anything will always disbelieve those of us who have actually lived a life.

It's "mind over matter"
I don't mind that they don't matter.

OK I'm gonna throw a couple different numbers off of my gps. My bike is 11 NRS on stage 1. I had it to 156 MPH. Fresh out of the shop after a good list of mods the bike went 168 MPH with a tail wind. V-rod with a bunch of destroyer parts added. Same bike on stage 1 at the local dragstrip went 11.61/115mph. I haven't been back to drag strip since my add-ons but should 10.90 or so 120+ MPH.
