Just buy a water filter from the home improvement center and connect it inline with your garden hose.

Yeah the filters go for for about 5 times normal store cost on Ebay which is crazy.

I always think of ebay, except this time. Thanks. Is the Pro kit any better than the standard kit? The Pro system states - "HAND HELD WASHING DEVICE W/ NEW SPRAY SETTING THAT IS 5X STRONGER THAN "AUTO DRY". Thanks again.

I have both models and the pro kit is better than the standard one since the rinse spray is stronger. I wouldn't buy one now though since the filters & soap are hard to find and when you so they're overpriced.

Most of the overpriced filters on ebay are also the 3 use trial size too, not the 10 use you could buy at the stores. The 3 use came with the starter kit.

Thanks. I'll watch for that. I just bought the Pro kit.

I don't see why you would buy something that's obsolete, but it's your money. A garden hose filter costs a lot less plus it filters more water than the Mr Clean filter.

The reason to buy one is it uses a dry rinse polymer soap and de-ionizes the water that a regular filter can't do. The dry rinse polymer soap in conjunction with the de-ionized water is what gives it a spot free rinse. If one could find a filter that de-ionizes the water that would work. You can use Meguiars car wash soap. Fill the Mr Clean bottle with 5% Meguiars. Then fill 3/4 full with water and shake.

I know how it works because I have one, but I'm almost out of filters and soap so I'll be using another method to wash my vehicles. You don't need a fancy deionizer to get a spot free rinse, any filter that will remove the minerals that cause water spots will work as well as the Mr Clean device.
