03 Fatboy Pipes - need input

I want to switch out my SEII slip-ons for dual (under the rider peg) staggered pipes on my 03 Fatboy. Looking at D&D or Python. Any recommendations would be appreciated (sound, cost, where to buy, etc).

I ordered the Vance & Hines Staggered Bigshots from Partsdirect.com for about $350. They fit under the pegs as you request. Have yet to get delivery so I can not comment on install. I did hear them on a 03 FLSTFI which is the same as my bike and they sound great as compared to my SEII slip ons. You do need to do a FI remap and change to a stage 1 type of air cleaner. I am choosing to have the dealer do the latter after I install the pipes...

Go with the Vance & Hines BigShots Long or Short. They have a built in crossover, sound great, look great, and as you can see by the picture of my bike, let you place your passenger floor boards on as you wish...

I have the BigShot Staggereds and wouldn't change. As my buddy says (and he runs an E Series) they are "obnoxious". Sound great in my opinion.

Funny thing tho, the car alarms in the area don't seem to care for em...

Oh yea, when I'm bored I go drive around the parking garage at work before heading out to the road to set off all the car alarms, damn cagers!
