Security light

When my bike (2001 Softail Deuce) is started, the check engine and security light (the red key) illuminate and then turn off. The the security light then comes back on for a few seconds, then turns off again. I assume this means that the TSSM has thrown a code. Is there a way for me to get this code? I can't find anything in the shop manual about how to do this.

Happened on my Nightrain after I had it in for some fix--can't remember what,but I brought it back and they took a couple minutes & fixed the problem.
