Best Garmin Nuvi 205 Mount?

Based on your experience and feedback from others, what is the best motorcycle mount for a Garmin nuvi 205?

Thank you!

i just bought 3 of the 205 s for my kids for x-mas. looks like a nice unit and easy to use. you realize they are not waterproof..if i were putting them on a bike i would buy a u bolt ram mount for the handlebars ,a 3'' arm ,and check rams cataloge to find away to mount it to the unit

You could all so use the Aqua box if you are concerned about them not being waterproof. Here is a link to the complete Ram catalog on my site

A window mount for your car...
(The NUVI isn't waterproof and that's
gonna' suck when you get it wet).

I just use the suction mount that came with my Nuvi 200 and attach it to the gas tank. If it rains, i just pop it off the tank and pack it away.

I just got the following and its worked outstanding so far. Cheap, well constructed, and leaves no marks whatsoever.

If you want a bracket that mounts to the switch housing like the Harley GPS, I found a bracket at Denniskirk.com from bracketron that worked well. (part #40-7699) I mounted the GPS cradle to it and it snaps on and off easily.

I am looking into these aqua boxes...my question is does anyone have a medium (not medium-wide) aqua box and a Garmin Nuvi 2xx(not 2xxw) and does it fit? Ram's website says the int dimension of the box is 2.88" and Garmin's website says the ext dim of the Nuvi is 2.8" and I'm wondering if it will fit (aka how accurate those measurements are) without having to spend the extra cash on the med-w aqua box...

The Garmin Zumo 550 is made for motorcycles and is totally waterproof. I have ridden all over Europe in torrential rain and I swear by the Zumo.

Thought I would add to this. Just got a Nuvi 205w, I don't ride in the rain, and if I get caught I will remove the gps and stow it. I wanted a mount that looked decent when the GPS was not on the bike as well.

I bought this one on ebay, it is a great part, very well made.
