I would be surprised if they put the HD on one (again). Seems like that would risk diluting the brand name and image.

HD did just buy Italian sportbike manufacturer MV Agusta, though.

They might not want to dilute that brand name either - but it might give them easier access to some Italian scooter makers.

It might give them a way to put a few upscale (chrome accented Vespa-ish) scooters over in the corner of dealerships......

Then again, there's an American Company in Chicago doing that (probably with some Chinese-sourced parts - but they actually are assembled in Chicago!). HD could ally with them if they really wanted to pursue that - and they could continue to play up the made-in-the-USA angle.
