I am still concerned about what kind of an impact the exhaust on the dressers being routed under the oil tank will have on oil temps?

Don't worry about the heat for the oil. Entire frame is new from the ground up... the main lighter frame and the swing-arm(s) allowing plenty of room for the exhaust pipe with no heat to the engine. The exhaust is a 2-1-2 set up. Well thought out. The biggest reason for the re-design is the FLHTCUTG. Google it and check out the results. Pretty cool.
