Leather saddlebags in the rain

for what its worth youve gotten enough good advice on how to take care of them...

i live in southern florida and my bike is a daily ride rain or shine...it lives in harsh sun and heavy rain like youve never seen every single day of the summer and most of the drier part of the year...the bike is parked outside all day exposed to the elements and only washed at best once a month (seems bad but the hard rain down here daily keeps it pretty damn clean)...

once every 2-3 months i give the bags a once over with a tub of h-d leather conditioner that i got for free....the bags still look like new and get compliments from quite a few people...one bag had to be replaced due to an accident over a year and a half after they were purchased and you cant tell which one is new....

leather is pretty durable stuff and really doesnt require a hell of a lot of maintenance...dont worry...enjoy it...
