Imagine going into a curve @ 85 mph .. the curve is so tigth that you allmost scrape the flooarboards .. THEN it wobbles - it is even worse on the older ones as the frame and especially the swingarn have been beafed up the later years. But I don't care - I just go slower in curves like that...

I have found that correct or a bit higher than "correct" pressure in the rear shocks make a HUGE difference ... I'm allso sure that loosing 100 lbs would help quite bit too

Agree that the bike is heavy enough as is - have to take 100lbs of accesories in consideration

In a few days we will see the first reports how big an improvement the new frame is and that the colours look awesone IRL ... We that own a 08 (minus) are going to have to build some ressistance ... WE DON'T CARE FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS - NOT a BIT - NOT a BIT -... and we DON'T LIKE THE NEW COLOURS ... AND AND --- WE ARE HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY ... so go away with you new bling

I have felt the rear end "wobble" once, the front end "shake" is different and I believe is a result of the batwing, not really a problem for me. Anyhow, entrance ramp, doing about double the posted speed and I hit a "tar strip". I thought I had gotten a flat, scared the crap out of me. I then pulled the bike over to the side of the road and checked it from top to bottom. I could find nothing wrong and it was fine for the rest of the day.

I can now reporduce the feeling at will. Hit about 70mph, hold onto the bars and plant my feet squarly on the boards. Then throw my ass one way or the other in the seat, the bike deffinitly "flexes". I am guessing it is the rubber mounted swingarm and I am sure at some point I will add one of the "missing Link" type products. For now I try not to do double the posted speed on the entrance ramps!

I would say worn parts are the biggest cause.How many ever check the neck brgs,fall out,swingarm bushings or even grease anything?Hopefully wheel brgs get changed once in awhile.

Whenever I get on mine I always take the longest route to destinations

Yep this is my first Harley Davidson of any kind, the dealer said I'd have it the first week of september-which means I'll have about a month of riding before the snow comes the way summer's been so far...Thanks for all the info-Caint Wait!

Entrance ramps suck and its a good place to go slower than the posted speed limit because of oil spills and stuff on the ramps.. Ask me how I know.... 11k in damage.

I had mine (2008 FLHX) to 110 and was as solid as any sport bike I have had . I don't know anyone who had issues with this around my neighborhood . But yes it will make the bike more stable .

You will be good for at least 10 more MPH....
