Of all the manuals I've used for cars or bikes, HD is the best, and second place isn't even close.

In spite of it's price the Harley, hands down. I 'spose the other two may be useful for very basic maintenence but they are lame in comparison.
The HD manual will be the best $60 accessory you will ever buy.

The HD manual will be year (or a couple at most) specific and therefore more detailed for your bike. The aftermarket manuals cover a lot of years and don't cover the changes from year to year very well. JMO

yeah, for as much BS marketing products as Harley tries to cram down your throat, they do provide the best manual of any of the big manual makers. you might have to still "read between the lines" on occasion but its still better than the others.

Another recommendation for the HD manual. Very pleased with it.

Exactly what he said, even going to the local dealer and paying full price it is still a value hands down.

If Clymer is still as bad as it use to be for brit. bikes, I wouldn't use it for toilet paper. Chilton has always been my second choice only if the factory manual couldn't be found. Then Haynes. Factory all the way and the parts book too.

Have you gone to your dealership to pick one up? The next step would be e-bay. They aren't hard to find.

Definitely the H-D. My brother has a Clymer for his Road King and it is nowhere near as detailed as the Harley ones I have for my bikes.
