GM is a Superglide. Guess the list as posted is not complete. HD Parts Manuals have always had this breakdown.

Planning a Birthday Party?
Gonna invite all the neighborhood kids' bikes to your place?
Maybe have a clown to tell lame jokes and do some magic tricks?
Bend the bike over for a spanking with whacks for each year and one to grow on?

Then call BIKER-PARTIES-R-US! We specialize in...oh, never mind...
It's just April Fool's and I'm feeling a little loopy.

lucille may be onto something as far as a good idea.

Let's call Willie G!

17 = 883cc Evolution XL
18 = 1100cc Evolution XL

21 = 883cc Evolution XL, California (1988 - *)
22 = 1200cc Evolution XL, California (1988 - *)

88 = Model Year

321 = Day of Production
001 = Jan. 1st 182 = Jul. 1st
032 = Feb. 1st 213 = Aug. 1st
060 = Mar. 1st 244 = Sep. 1st
091 = Apr. 1st 274 = Oct. 1st
121 = May 1st 305 = Nov. 1st
152 = Jun. 1st 335 = Dec. 1st

This should only be used as a guide only. Even Harley-Davidson admit there are some discrepancies in their vin numbers.

The EA is a FXR Super Glide and is an early model FXR and at the time it was often called the Rubber mount. I could have written it to just say FXR Super Glide

The EV says FXR4 not FXR and the FXR4 was all that was available as an FXR in 2000. It is the correct designation.

What do you think is wrong or a problem with that?
