It's got potential. Fenderless front and a 21" wheel would get it in the right direction. Bob an FL fender for the back, maybe kick the apes up some, yep, got potential...

Exactly. It's cool but it needs a little work.

i'm not sure a bike can be produced witout a front fender and meet federal guidelines. that would probably explain the minimalist profile...the rear fender is understandable because guys used to bob em years ago. still looks too heavy for the bike though. would like to see more blacked out including the exhaust...possibly wrapped pipes with black mufflers.
its a winner in my book...

If the Rocker is any indication this thing should be in your Dealers Showrooms about the end of June

Just think how things would be if the MOCO read this thread? Maybe someone there will actually ask what "our" opinions are while doing market reasearch...

The press is starting to come out on this new bike also. Isn't just amazing how badly HD's official photos of their bikes look when compared to the pics in the press articles. Seems the same story each time a new bike comes out. Anyway the article is from MOTORCYCLE DAILY

edit edit edit
my post didn't get edited, so... I went onto harleys website to check it out, besides the fender issue, the not so keen on the paint, retro they should have left of the tribal pinstriping, mini apes could have been a little higher, a few other things that led me to believe that I wouldn't buy one, I could just get a springer and slap my own parts onto it
Oh yea and then there is the air cleaner???? Damn is my evo considered retro?

Switch to the rocker's swingarm mounted fender, add true dual fishtails, and then change to the wide bikini beach bars and they would have something pretty damn cool.
Then it would look like this one we built for my son, this pic was before we added the round oil bag and the Samson true duals which really look great on the bobber.

Not too bad. It now makes sense why they stopped making the Springer, if they had this bike planned.
Not sure I like the seat, though. Since the front and rear fenders aren't very retro, it might look better to have a regular solo seat on there. That'd probably make it really appealing to the height challenged folkes.

I think a bobbed rear fender along the lines of the one on Greglal's bike would look hot on the Cross Bones.
