Hi.

I like the new look, but I hate those damn annoying drag over ads that show up in the post as a green underlined word.

Do we have a way of turning them off?

I LIKE IT....It's like a breath of fresh air...........for those wanting to change colors back, or to stop some of the underlineing ads........admin explained how to do that in the thread at the top of general discussion.

Yes! To disable them go to your User CP and click on edit profile then scroll down and you will see a check box to disable Intelitext ads. Click that box and you are set.

LOL Thanks for that! I have a wife and guinea pig to feed!

So far, so good.
Glad you ran us out yesterday so we wouldn't sit in the wet paint.

The pages do load a little slower than before.

try using Firefox with the ad blocker plus plug in... that will speed things up considerably

The banner for the old site (photo with setting sun in the desert and bagger parked on the side of the road) was significantly better than the new one.... I was very sorry to see that go.

Other changes are very nice, though... thanks.

Slow, SLOW, SLOW!!!

I also can't find anything in the control panel to turn off the adds and rollover ads which are the worst. I have adandoned sites I really liked because of those annoying things, please help me get rid of em!

You can disable the roll over ads (intelitext) from you user CP. Click the link on the left nav bar which reads "edit profile" then scroll down to the bottom and you will see a check box to disable them.

Thrasher - interesting observation...and thank you for the positive feedback. And BTW, love the santa hat on Caveman!

Can EAYOR be excluded from an "Active Topics" search? Thanks.

For the most part I like the New Look of VTF..

I don't miss the long departed photo of a bagger at sunset..(it was WAY tired). I would like to see an updated photo of a bagger on the opening webpage in Brilliant color and on the move. Photos or suggestions of V-Rods should be burried (JMO) or added somewhere else.

I'm not a big fan of the Harley Zone..but..their use of photo graphics are the best in the website business. You can click on a posters avatar..and view their personal collection of bike photos and make comments to them. There is nothing better than seeing photos of bikes and being able to post comments to them and ask questions. VTF should consider implementing such best practices.

Thanks Springer for helping me reclaim access to VTF after the update.

It's all Good...
