next best thing to a ride

It hit about 40 here today, which for upstate NY lately..is a heat wave!
Yanked the battery out of the Dyna and hooked up the cables on my chop, faced the pipes out the door, and fired her up in the living room. If only that battery fit in the chop, maybe id take a quick putt around the block.
DANG I forgot how nice a stroked shovel, fat solid cam and drag pipes sounds

whats this all mean to you guys? not a damn thing! Just gave myself a 'biker boner' and had to share it!
COME ON, SPRING!

You fired it up in your living room? That's a novel room freshener technique. Sadly, we've still got piles of snow everywhere, and the streets are awash in a salty slush so spring riding is still a few weeks away for me. But I'm with you on the "Come on spring" sentiment.

-2 here in Wyoming this morning and around 38 right now but supposed to be upper 40's tomorrow. Streets are finally clearing. My bikes in the shop 100 miles away waiting for the streets to clear so they can road test it then dyno tune it. I don't know if I'm gonna make it two more weeks. Can't even go out to the garage and zen with it. Biker Boner...LMAO and yeah...come on spring !

I did that few years ago, after doing some carb work, wanted to see if it would start, before I brought it outsdie. While fun, I now never start a bike in the winter, unless I am going to ride it. Not good for it.

Got to around 62 today. Did a trip to Ocean City, about 320 miles through the back roads...great trip.
