How's that 124 coming along Dave?
It's together and the tuning begins today. Using the new supersert. Funny thing is I pulled my Fat Cats and installed Bub 7's with the crossover. Wanted to give them a try. If it turns out like ****, I'll put the cats back on.
I'll post the results as soon as I have them.

just got home from Georgia...picked up the bike on the way in....first words out of my mouth was "Damn thats ugly".....guess i'm gonna hafta get used to it...i have the dyno sheets from both the true dual with my modified torque cones welded in the Rush 2" pipes....and with the Phil inspired fatcat...but i dont know how to make em appear on here(someone help please, i can email em)....without bein a know it all i can safely say the true dual experiment worked very well for puttin torque back into the equation as it made 144(MORE THAN THE FATCAT)...the big motor did want to breathe tho so the choke down began too early in the powerband and it only made 103hp...no doubt bc of my choice of two things, the 51mm TB and the hack job on my Rush muffs....with the FATCAT it made 139rwtq, down 5 from the true duals BUT the hp came up to 122....i'm bettin the 55 would have had that # closer to 130 or more....seat of the pants is awesome, the bike is different to ride, it hits the rev limiter real fast in the first 3 gears and pulls very hard....the FATCAT with perf baffle sounds fantastic(even tho its ugly), has a back rasp when i let off the throttle....bike is tuned perfectly and i'm gonna ride it cause momma says i'm done....

BIG THANKS to PhilM for all his help on this one...
BIG THANKS to Steve & Michele for buildin me a killer motor
BIG THANKS to Ed for his expert tuning and all the extra work he did to get it right

now someone please help me post the charts for all to see...thanks...b

the fatcat kept the tq longer and brought the hp way up....mmmmmm i see the tq starts fast but starts dropping off at 3200 with the duals... with all the sheets i looked at can't say i seen 1 come on the strong that fast and dropping that early. the way it is it could pull a cement truck around town real easy

the true duals worked great...BUT, bc of my choking them down with a torque cone in the front end of the Rush baffle it would not allow the 117 to breathe IMO....now if i can make a variable venturi torque cone that will open up at higher rpms, i may have a winner...and i have idears on just how to do that....for now tho, i'm gonna run the uglyass fatcat....AND its very loud
