lean angle sensor

Does anybody know where the lean angle sensor is on a V-rod and can it be bypassed like it can on other fuel injected harleys. Also, I suspect this is the reason that my v-rod is cutting off when I go around sharp curves or turn from at an intersection. This didn't happen until I left to go to Myrtle Beach this week.

Or if you know that this isn't the problem, let me know what it may be. The bike will restart after about five minutes after it has cut off. Then it will cut off again eventually after a lean.

the vehicle attitude sensor is located in the tsm/tssm & cannot be bypassed-sounds like a faulty module

Bank angle sensor

I believe it is part of the TSSM module under the seat.

The bank angle sensor cuts off ignition once the bike passes a 45 degree angle of lean. Since a stock V-Rod can only lean to about 30 degrees without dragging pipes n' pegs (and less than this if you lower the rear shocks) I would suggest that something may be amiss.

It is possible you have a faulty TSSM - if the problem persists, take it to your dealer and have them hook up the Scanalyzer - it will quickly show if the TSSM is malfunctioning.
