Bent Frame Tube

My buddy laid down his V-rod yesterday.(7-24-06) He was going slow, so not too much damage was done. He did how-ever bend the left forward control back twards the rear of the bike. Now the tube-frame, where the foot-peg connect, is bent. This put a slight 'fold' (1/8 inch) in the frame.
Can this be bent straight, or does he need to get a new frame/engine mount.

Thanks

My son did the same thing with his. He tried bending it back but it just cracked the weld (poor weldjob). You can order that lower frame cradle colormatched for $114 if i remember right. Very reasonable considering its a harley part. Hope this helps
