I HAVE AN 04 V-ROD WITH V-MOD MUFFLERS A REVTECH DFO, AND SREAMIN EAGLE AIR FILTER. IT HAS 600 MILES ON IT AND ONLY 200 ON THE PERFORMANCE MODS. TODAY I WAS RIDING IT AND IT WAS RUNNING FINE UNTIL I KICKED IT UP TO ABOUT 70 AND IT MISSED A LITTLE AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON BRIEFLY AND WENT OUT. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM OR KNOW WHAT MAY HAVE CAUSED IT.AFTER THIS IT RAN GREAT AGAIN. THANKS!

Did you check the IM for troubble codes? If so what were they? If not, why not?

Check your trouble codes. Check the battery connectors as well. There was an issue wtih the fuel flange on some of the first runs of the V-Rod but I understand these were addressed by the second half of the 2003 runs. With the bike idling, and a half tank of gas, peek into the fuel tank and look for a fine misting effect at the top of the tank.
Another thing to check would be the coils over the plugs. Some have found poor connections there too that cause stalling issues.
