Wanting to get rid of the brake light

I am in the prossecs of making a new fiberglass fender for my rod. And I would like to remove the rear brake light from the middle of the fender and have the brake light work though the turn signals. H-D just came out with a kit to make you turn singals into brake lights also but as we all know our turn signals are not running lights. This being the problem that I am faced with.

I plan to run the deuce chrome turn signals. this will give me the right socket and bulb for the job, I just need to figure out how to make it all work.

The kit H-D has for the v-rod, it only has the two wires that is needed for the standard setup. They also have one for other bikes. Does anyone know if the connection are the same and will it work.

please be careful... make sure you are not gonna create a low visibility situation... at the expense of looking cool. MORE light would be better.

KuryAkyn sells a kit to make the turn signals in to running lights. My son-in-law has it on his DYNA, don't know the part #.

Thanks for all the help evryone. As for the new fender Im about to beat my head on the wall, haha. I set the fender on the bike last night and it is not siting right. when veiwed from the back it has a twist to one side but sitting on the work table it looks great. I just hope that is not where it needs to be mounted. haha

Have the Doc make you a pair of dual function LED turn signals/brake lights.

The Doc and I have talked about the setup and he can do it!
