Coolant overflow bottle

Well I did it again. I broke the top of my coolant overflow bottle. I have got to find a better way to take it off.

Anyway, when I called to get a replacement, I found out that the cap is now a stand alone part. P/N 61813-01.

I ordered two of them. That way I will never need the second one.

IndianaSteve is on a distinguished road
Jeff,

That sounds like two good ideas: H-D for releasing the top as an individual part and you for getting a spare one. I might do the same. Thanks for providing the info and the part number.

BTW, did you ever get the PM I sent to you regarding your location?

the new improved part has a tab added so you dont have to put pressure on the nipple. make sure the one(s) you get are the new style.
