Straight Pipes

Hi Group, new to it, great info. Thought I would share this with you. Saw on a web site how to change out the stock pipes. Drill out baffle/weld at exit of pipes and remove chamber. Then install new baffle. Well I didn't put in baffle & went with the straight pipes (big stock pipes). I currently have the S.E. pipes, H/D download and K&N air filter. 3 bolts and 10 min. later you have the baddest, loudest, different sounding bike that kicks a**. No flat spots. Wear ear plugs for it is loud! I take them off and put the S.E.'s back on for everyday cruising. Throw a twist in it and go topless, it will rev faster but flat spot at 7k. Have fun and bring on the REVOLUTION!

I've heard them and if you stand or ride too close, they WILL make your ears bleed. I still can't hear sh*t.

This sounds the same as the V-Mod..... I was planning to do the V-mod, and I want the V-rod to be louder, but don't want to make ears bleed - I may need to reconsider if this isn't different.

Anyone know?

Thanks!

JP

Thanks Steve! I look forward to doing business with you! I'm finishing my basement right now, but as soon as I free up some cash, I'll join the V-Mod family.
