Alarm Help?

Has anyone hooked up an after market siren or pager. I just got one from Thunder page that hooks up to the factory harness under the seat. I pluged it in and tested it...no chirp. I called the company to make sure I was hooking it up right and I was. He suggested I check the harness for output. Hooked up a test meter pushed the key fob, lights flashed, but no output from harness. I hot wired the siren to a 12v battery works fine. Any ideas on how to get juice to the alarm harness? I checked the wire diagram from the shop manuel not much help. any ideas?????

oceanridereast,
Can't help you with your problem but wondered if you had considered the pager and why you went with the siren instead. What is the cost and where did you get your siren and do they also sell the pager.

alarm prob. solved

Got up early this morning and figured out where I went wrong. There are 2 connectors under the seat. I didn't see the alarm connector and was trying to connect to the purge solenoid (only 2 wires the alarm connector has 3 wires). The Alarm/pager I installed was from Atrtronix Ltd. It is a pager alarm that plugs right into the factory harness. I added the audible siren for an extra $18. The pager setup is $199. You have to get the Main harness that plugs into the Harley. They gave it to me for no charge. Total w shipping $231. When you get the right harness easy to install less than an hour. Phone 480 951 1109 They have a toll free, I don't have it handy. So far it seems to work great. the pager has a function that lets you know if you are out of range.....
