Bryan, The clutch basket part # is 37846-99A 37 tooth. The motor sprocket is #40269-85A 24 tooth. Zannottos has been having the best prices but i can tell you the motor sprocket has tripled in price in the last 8 months. I have done this mod on many of customers bikes and they always come back smiling. Goog luck Booggerbe

The clutch basket is fragile and Zanotti's was the only one who could deliver it in one piece. I just use them now even though I have to pay 6%sales tax. They are close to me and parts arrive in one piece and very quickly.

In all fairness Chicago Harley tried to get it right, just didn't work.

And yes sprockets, cam plates and oil pumps ALL shot through the roof price wise.

You will love the 3:37 gearing and the true mechanical advantage it gives.

The 300 RPM in cruise is not a problem, and rather welcomed. I really like it there as it keeps my build in a sweeter spot RPM wise at cruise so when I reach up there to pull on the throttle and break the cruise mode, it just pulls.

Dollars aside it is something you should enjoy a lot.

OK so what are we to do to get the 07 6sp bikes out of the hole a little quicker, gearing that is?

Just to give you the other side of the coin....... and I'm in the minority here,
I think that 3.37 gearing wastes 1st gear out the pipe.

Of course, I'm running the "as shipped" DD6 setup on my cruiser which is around 3.23 and even at that, 1st gear is pretty useless. Depending on the intersection, sometimes I can't even make it all the way across without shifting. To me, that's a safety and practical matter.

The custom bike I'm building will be geared even taller. Stock 5 speed gearing, 3.33" open belt primary and the chain sprockets will be chosen for a higher 1st gear and top end. I'm going to let the motor really pull 1st gear this time.

Let me know what the price is if on sale. I'm ready if they are.

What are the costs for Spyke adding 6th?
