Oversize drive sprocket

My Harley mechanic was putting a new drive belt on my bike. He informed me that there was an oversize drive sprocket on the engine. All he could tell me was that it gave me a greater top end.
I asked how it affected my gas mileage and he wasn't sure.
Can someone tell me? Also, I pull a trailer that weighs about 550 lbs. and drive in the mountains often. Should I go back to a stock drive sprocket?
Thanks!

Gas mileage....not much.
Pulling a trailer I personally would opt for the 32T veruses the 34 if your build is stock or close to it (stage 1) IF you have a 95BB or better keep it or if you do not notice any issues running it now. I also pull a heavy trailer with my Ultra and was thinking of going to a 34T. But it only lowers the rpm a little anyway. Just as in my fatboy has a 30T and it raises the rpm at speed only a little. I guess its 6 or 1/2 dozen of the other.

Thanks

Thanks for the info. I think I failed to mention that it's an Ultra. The belt is being changed while a bigger engine is being put in. Going from stock to an S&S 96. That was the recomendation for a combination of best fuel economy, power to do the job and engine cooling.
