Question screaming eagle 113 cu in info

Yesterday when I took delivery of my SG the shop foreman was working on a standard. He said they were putting a 113 cu in upgrade from Harley. Anyone hear of this? He said this was the first one. I am assuming it is screaming eagle.

Yep.

You can find the kit in the SE catalog.

You can find the SE catalog by:

going to the MoCo website

then click on "experience"

then click on "racing"

then click on "screaming eagle performance parts"

You will be able to download it.

It uses the 103" stroker flywheel and oversized jugs and pistons, and I think HD uses the SE 103"+ heads. You need to get the case machined to accommodate the bigger cylinders.

There's a lot of labor involved and if you can't do the labor yourself it gets pretty pricey. I forget exactly the price I was quoted when I checked on this build, but I wound up only spending a little more to get a Jim's 120" motor installed. And now I have my 95" motor sitting in my garage ready for resale or replacement if I ever trade in my current ride and want to keep the 120".

smart!!! you now have a better engine AND a replacement.

Yep, that was another deciding factor.

With the 113" everything is bored and machined out to pretty much max tolerances, afaik. That made me a little nervous. The 120" still has plenty of "growing room".

Plenty of room for the 113" in stock cases. Have seen stock cases accomodate 124" and one 131". The 124" Millenium set up my bud has(in stock cases) has been running great on and off the track. I have the 113" SE "Bigger Bore" set up in my RoadGlide and like it so far. Dyno'd @ 118hp/124tq with a so so map and 3.15 gearing. TQ is 120 by 3000 rpm. Total cost for engine removal, Timken conversion, case boring, head clean up,
roller rockers, new cams and lifters, clutch upgrade, re-assemble engine, re-install in bike was $4900.00
Then another $225.00 for the tune/map. By the way the 113" SE pistons that are available are for either HTCC CNC heads or the 103+ heads. Less downtime with a Jims 120". I went the 113" route because my 95 " had a lifter and cam failure putting a lot of metal through the motor.
