Winter Project Questions
During the summer months here in Florida when my bike is warmed up it ticks like crazy, partially due to the woods 8 cams. I have cruised this bored for years and tried all the tricks to reduce the noise. Doc once told me mine may have been the quietest he had ever heard. This winter I have decided to change a few things on my build. I am looking at either the Tman 625 or 600. Switching out the SE50mm TB for the HPI 51 or 55 and possibly cutting the Big Radius Baffles in half. My questions are which cam would perform better for my build, I like the performance of my woods, I feel I have power across the entire rpm band? Would I see any benefit switching the throttle bodies to either mentioned? I have spoken to a couple well known builders from this and many boards and they both suggested cutting my baffles either in half or a third off, but Doc said leave it alone. Does anyone else have experience doing this? Thanks for all your help. Here's my current build
