98 ci Andrews conversion cam

now 88 ci 2000 rk cv carb ddt ignition andrews conversion

plate smith brothers adj push rod 26 n cam stock head pipe

and old se slip on dyno last summer 74 hp and 92 tq

wan keep bike reliable and easy tune

half of my milleage 2 up with trailer on trip sometime 450 mile per day

my plan is big bore to 98 ci cp flat top piston little port job on

my stock head


i maybe keep the 26 cam

or put andrews 48 n cam with higher lift

is it worth it to change for 48

what static compression those cam need

where i can av good price on cp piston

Your asking a lot from that combination with the weight your pulling. We would recommend a 37 cam and domed pistons. The S&S 510's would also be a great choice with the 10 to 1 compression.

Not sure what your goal is but I am thinking 24/37 primary and leave the motor alone; looks like a decent runner. Save some money, no tuning issues; just make the swap and ride.

cant put a ss cam with my andrews conversion cam plate and the

dyno sheet i look with the andrews 37 looks like torke come later i

look for a cam with power come on lower rpm

but i maybe wrong

I like the 37 for your build. Which exhaust are you going to run? I would say pick up a set if 05 or newer heads pretty cheap then u get beehive springs and 7mm valve already. eBay or this forums classifieds.

I just bought 98" CP flattop pistons for my build and the best price I found was at http://www.campbellenterprises.com/ $300 shipped to Maine USA (Big Boyz).

You'll get a lot of good technical advice on this forum. Read a lot before spending anything.
