"Safety upgrade" next week

Well I consider it a safety upgrade, going with having the heads checked, .030 Cometic head gaskets and Andrews 57H cams and then a retune by Doc Weaver at Doc's Performance...

(I figure its a safety upgrade because I don't want to get run over from the rear when I pull out in traffic with the wife onboard) And shes good with that..

Drago's Dragula 2 into 1 pipe
H-D Ventilator air cleaner.
TTS tuner/dyno by Doc/98hp & 107tq
CVO adjustable rear shocks
Leather C&C seat
Freedom 8" dark smoked windshield
Streamliner boards/pegs
Nostalgic bag rails and as much chrome as I can find

plus more stuff to come much to my wife's dismay.

Planning on it,,after my 03 100th anniv bagger with the Axtell 107(130 ft lbs tq & 118 hp) and a Baker DD6, the performance on this bike is a BIG letdown the way it is, but my 03 was built for so long I forgot what a stock bike ran like...

Safety Upgrade.

I like it. I think I shall use that for new pistons.

GMan, that's a cool looking bike you have. Its killer retro! I always wanted one of those police specials but as I'm not in LE I am not eligible. That being said I'm quite happy with my "Dark Custom" hot-rodded 09 Street Bob. -Tutt

Just think of how much safer you could be with a new S&S 124

Thanks Cowboy.

I'm not in LE, in fact, the guy I picked this bike up from was definitely not in LE. I think he was running from them at the time. I felt like I did pretty good to get the title.

BVBob, you are so correct, but right now I have to get the wife past the fact that I bought a new bike when in her words "you have a perfectly good bike sitting in the garage that you've already spent a fortune on"..
And I kinda work on the old addage of, its alot easier to get forgiveness than it is to get permission,,,but baby steps being as I'd like to have a sex life sometime this century...

Well, was just informed that my safety upgrades are going to be put back a week or so due to my mechanic wanting a couple of days to get caught up and then rest a little...lol
