Torque question

I currently have a 2001 FXSTI that was modified to produce 80 HP and 90 tq. Max torque is around 3500 rpm.It performs well for what I want.

I'm looking at a new Electra Glide Classic this spring but undoubtedly I'll want to boost its output. It weighs nearly 300 lb more than than my softail. What kind of torque would I have to shoot for to get the equivalent seat of the pants performance that I have in the softail???

Using math and the figures you and the Harley website provided, the Electra Glide would need around 130-135 ft/lb of torque to have the same amount of torque per pound of weight as your FXSTI.

Yep sure, then the wheels go out on him. Better advice would be to keep the ST to beat on and leave the Ultra alone.
