Lifters

Has anyone used chevy lifters in there twin cam engine?I had someone asking me this theother day ,said they are the same dimensions and the same valving.I am very skeptical on this subject
and wold not give him a answer.Has anyone tryed this?How about Ron Dickey,or the king of cubes.Thanks

I use the Comp Cam 850 lifter with travel limiters on many builds, they give me the least troubles of all lifters. and I check and pump them all with Jims lifter tool. I buy them in the 16 paks from Speed shops.

the 875 have limiters built into them already.

I've had nothing but good experience with Comp cams lifters.
850's in the mild stuff and 875's in the more aggressive builds.

Well I'll be dipped.....I use Comp for race car stuff all the time.....never really considered them for the Harleys....good info
