I think I know what he's up to *wink wink nudge nudge*
Nice crosshatch on the cylinder, did these get over sized pistons from go or are these as delivered?

I am pulling the cylinders.ball honing and installing a new set of std . size 12.0:1 pistons.
it all started as a weekend hop up. but I ended up having one .030 and one .040 head gasket. so I am at a stand still until I get gaskets.
I am leaving the t man 662-2 cams in ,at least for a tune.
should be cranking about 240ccp with them.
I have the RX 267 cams as well. I plan on tuning it with the Drago Fang first. then the wegner 2-1.

it very well could.
probably will be one of those that you could make ping if you wanted to try? or it could have an area or two you wouldnt want to ride in. as long as you dont ride it there, and know where its gonna ping at? your fine.
I dont think I will end up riding it with these cams in it. I dont need that kind of low end.
I was tuning it with 87 oct on the last tune. it pinged a couple times real good. I fixed it and finished tuning. that was the last wegner 2-1 tune.
so when I was done tuning the pipe back in,I pulled the top end.
if you look close at the pistons, you can see where it was detonating. looks like a chicken pecking on the carbon deposits on the top of the pistons.
if you look at the exhaust valve you can see deposits as well. if I would not have pulled the heads right after the tune,it would have blown out the pipe or got coved up with carbon.

I'm not sure your CCP will actually be that high. With the centerline on those cams and the overlap it should bleed off a lot of pressure. I don't think it'll be a pinger but it should be a runner!
