RPMs not dropping quickly with SE StgIV

I have a 2012 SG with a SE StgIV package. It runs great but from day one the rpm has been slow to drop back down to idle. I've questioned my dealer service guy and he said it was normal with high compression. I had Dyno tuned at 1000 miles 108/112 with no dips in the curve. Any suggestions ???

Normal with high compression that's a new one.Quite sure there is something going on with the tune.One of the members up on electronics should be able to set you straight.

Kinda what I was thinking, they don't have a Dyno and send bikes out to be tuned at another shop. The a/f looked good varying 12.0-13.1 but I know that has nothing to do with the idling. Once it idles down it stays down but it's slow to fall every time. It was tuned using a SEPRT

Isn't that a sign of lean A/F ratios? Or maybe it was tuned with an air leak present so the A/F ratios are good, but it decels slowly. Just random thoughts.

I'm not sure, I'm taking it to another shop with a Dyno to let them have a look at it, while I watch. I'm thinking that's a sign of being "lean" too ! I tried to restrict the intake to see if that would help, it didn't seem to, very little if any at idle.

Sounds like a vacuum leak.
