How about Feuling 594s in a 103? : V-Twin Forum: Harley Davidson Forums

Winter project time. Going to have the heads ported and have a HPI throttle body to install. With milling and .030hg (w/ current domed pistons) I think I can get close to 11:1, any opinions on how this cam would do? Already at 99hp/102tq so looking to improve!

Was hoping for a few replies to this. Thinking about this cam in a 107 @ 11:1. CP works out to 9.29:1 and ccp of 193 according to big boyz calculator. Right in the ballpark for my build. Should be plenty stout but what do I know. Internet junkie looking for a fix.

I was interested myself....I want to upgrade the heads and pistons, PLUS cam on my 07 SE110....Im looking at the Feuling 574's for a Softail 95 buildup...but think the 594s look good too for the big motor....

I am installing the 594 in my 2012 CVO 110. Along with other parts. Will let you know how it turns out.

Sounds like it would be a higher end cam, in a 103 anyway.

No cents put up a post on the 594 he installed in his 117. I was impressed with his comments. Originally I was going with the S&S 625 but after reading his comments I decided to go with the 594 in my build. Granted there is not a lot of feed back on this cam. According to Fueling it has only been available to the distributors for three months. Fueling did say they have been working on this cam for about two years.

Why are you intent on bumping the compression up ?

Back it off a smidge and there are dozens of cams that will make plenty of power

Already have the pistons installed but I don't want to go in the wrong direction.
