Crank plug

Just wondering, On a pressed in crank pin once it has been plugged, can the plugs be removed for for servicing the crank again? Or do the plugs stay with the pin?

And if the crank pin is replaced who makes the replacement crank pin for the HD 1.671 dia pin ?? I know S&S makes a smaller crank pin for the flywheels they manufacture

Heres the pin.. http://www.debrix.com/CRANK-PIN-TWIN.../98-548-mw.htm
I'm sure they can pull the plugs as most shops prefer plugs to welding for easier servicing. I think that new plugs would be used
